Account deletion

You can request deletion of your Landscape Genius account at any time. You never need to telephone us.

How to request deletion

If you can sign in: open Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my account. You'll see exactly what will be removed and be asked to type DELETE. Deletion runs immediately.
If you can't sign in: email support@landscapegenius.app from the address on the account. We verify ownership before acting on a request made this way, and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your sign-in credentials and profile (name, email, phone, avatar).
Your notification settings and notification history.
Photos you uploaded, along with AI concepts generated from them.
Your saved rate cards, materials, crews and quote-engine defaults.
Your Genius credit balance and usage history.
Your portfolio, public contractor profile, and your projects and clients.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no recovery window, so export your data first if you want a copy (Settings → Privacy & data → Download my data).

Shared and business records

If you belong to a company workspace, deleting your personal account does not delete the company's clients, projects, quotes or invoices — those belong to the company.
Content another party holds a copy of — a proposal you sent them, a message they received — may remain in their account with your personal details removed.

What is retained

Issued invoices and payment records are financial records we must keep for tax and audit purposes (7 years), with personal details minimised. Records held by our payment provider are subject to that provider's own retention rules. We may keep a minimal record of the deletion request itself, and of any safety report involving the account, for fraud-prevention purposes.

Subscriptions

Cancel any active subscription before deleting your account. Billing is handled by our payment provider (or by Apple or Google for in-app purchases), and deleting your account here does not by itself cancel a subscription or produce a refund. See our Refund Policy.
